What to expect at your first visit

Every patient goes through the same process, so your plan is built around you before any treatment is discussed.

CALL TO BOOK

"If something isn't the right fit for you, I'll tell you, and we'll find what is."

The process

Consultation

An unhurried conversation to start, so we can get to know you before we talk about any treatment.

Medical history

A quick medical history review, so any treatment recommendation is grounded in your actual health picture, not just what you asked for.

Your goals

A conversation about what you actually want to look and feel like, so your plan starts with your goals, not a standard package.

Professional guidance

Honest and professional guidance on what is, and isn't, a good fit for you, including saying no when that's the right call.

Personalized plan

A treatment plan built around your history, goals, and anatomy, specific to you rather than pulled from a generic menu.

Preparation

Clear, simple guidance on how to prepare, so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive.

Procedure

Your treatment, performed with the same safety standard behind every plan Veronica creates.

Post-Care & Follow-up

Follow post-care do's & don'ts specific to your treatment. We'll check-in after your visit, because your care doesn't end when you leave the room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at aestheticsxveronica@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We'll talk through why, and what might work better for your goals instead.

Enough time for a real conversation, not a rushed appointment.

Do

  • Come to your consultation ready to disclose your complete medical history, current medications, and supplements, this is what your treatment plan actually gets built on.
  • Let your provider know if you're pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Most injectables and laser treatments aren't recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and this needs to be part of the conversation before anything is planned.
  • Mention any history of cold sores, especially before lip treatments; the trauma of injection can trigger an outbreak, and a preventive antiviral may be recommended beforehand.
  • Eat a light meal before your appointment if you tend to feel lightheaded around injections.
  • Ask questions about anything you don't understand, about the treatment itself or what recovery will look like, before you agree to move forward.
  • Plan your schedule around any expected downtime, especially for laser, microneedling, or thread treatments, rather than booking those close to an event.

Don't

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 to 48 hours before treatment; it's the most consistent bruising risk across every treatment on this list.
  • If it's optional, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for about a week before treatment to reduce bruising risk; never stop a prescribed medication without checking with the prescribing provider first.
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning in the days to weeks before treatment, particularly before laser or light-based treatments (Halo, BBL, IPL). An active tan or sunburn can mean the treatment needs to be postponed.
  • Avoid starting new active skincare products, retinoids, exfoliating acids, right before treatment, especially before laser or microneedling.
  • Avoid other facial treatments, facials, peels, waxing, too close to your appointment.
  • Don't come in with an active skin infection, cold sore, or breakout in the treatment area without mentioning it first; it may change what can safely be done that day.
  • Avoid scheduling treatment too close to a major event. Bruising and swelling are normal and expected, and there should be buffer time before anyone needs to look camera-ready.
